About Bunyarra Farm

The name Bunyarra comes from the local Bundjalung language and means 'in good health and happiness'.

Bunyarra Farm is a therapy space on a rural property surrounded by nature and animals. We are based in Eltham, a short drive from Lismore, Ballina and Byron Bay. We are a working Macadamia farm with over 5,000 trees. We also have areas of creek and rainforest regeneration.

We offer Equine Assisted Counselling services at our farm for children and adults. We have different options to suit everyone and we welcome all people to the farm. We offer counselling sessions alongside our equine co-therapists and connection with our farm animals for those who are more comfortable with smaller creatures. We support people to feel safe, seen and heard.

The beautiful farm setting offers nature based therapy. We also offer room based therapy for those who are more comfortable with this setting. Our sessions may include mindfulness, somatic experiencing or art therapy activities.

We invite you to explore our services and choose what works best for you or your child's individual needs.

We respectfully acknowledge the traditional owners, the Widjabul/Wia-bal people of the Bundjalung nation, of the land on which we live, work and play. We acknowledge their ongoing connection to land, waterways, community, culture, stories, songlines and traditions. We pay respect to elders past, present and emerging.
